Game Plan Summary
Rusty Scupper began a sports marketing campaign with Ravens Radio
Sportscaster, Tom Davis during the 2003-2004 professional football
season. Tom Davis endorses the restaurant "live" on the
air during Ravens weekend talk shows and Pre/Post game broadcasts
on Game Day. Each weekend during Ravens home games,
Rusty Scupper prepares a special entrée delivered to the show. Callers
ask sports questions and more importantly, callers want to know about the entrees
that Tom enjoys over the air courtesy
of sponsor, Rusty Scupper.

Nelson's Southern Pit Barbecue was founded twenty-two years ago
by Andy Nelson, Sr. -- former World Champion Baltimore Colt football
player and his son, Andy Nelson, Jr. Their company specializes in
catered corporate events as well as serving the general public with
a restaurant location in Cockeysville, MD for lunches and dinners.
Andy Nelson's Southern Pit Barbecue was recently voted The 2003
People's Choice -- Baltimore's Best BBQ through an on-line poll
from Baltimore Magazine.
Game Plan Summary
Andy Nelson's Southern Pit BBQ allocated advertising dollars
toward a Radio promotional campaign during Ravens Football Season.
Ravens Pre-Post Game announcer, Tom Davis, hosted an on-line, in-store
contest
for fans to Enter To Win a Ravens/Nelson BBQ Tailgate Prize Package.
The result? Nearly 200 new customers became patrons of the restaurant
through the promotion. A similar promotion was set up for Opening
Day 2003 which drew over 250 new customers!

football season with live endorsements from Ravens Pre-Post Game
Host, Tom Davis, former All Pro Colt, Bruce Laird and Ravens Superbowl
Champion, Matt Stover through WB 54- Touchdown Baltimore and Ravens
Radio. Sports figures attended Ledo Pizza Annual Golf Tournament
to benefit the Johns Hopkins Children's Center where a live
auction was held that raised $5,000 for a trip to see the Ravens
play Pittsburgh.
